10 Big Updates to the Wholesale In a Box course

As you probably know, we’re in constant dialogue with our Wholesale In a Box makers about their questions, concerns, and new opportunities on the horizon.     This update revamped our intro section to make it easy for you to jump in and get some quick wins. It also has answers to frequently asked questions and links to course sections for easy access. (Quick Start Section)

  • Payment terms 101.

  • Working the marketplaces.
    In this update, we really focus on what makers can do to get better results on Faire.(Finding Success on the Marketplaces Lesson)

  • A straightforward system for finding great stores, quickly.
    A video lesson with Emily breaks down the daisy chain technique and other ways to search out stores that fit with your aesthetic and ethos. (Scout Stores) In a second new video lesson, Emily analyzes the best ways to know if a store will be a good fit.   • Help with subject lines.
    Once you’re ready to email, we have added a new breakdown of the most effective subject lines and we added 20 ideas for your subject lines to help you grab the attention of your readers! (Subject Lines Lesson)

  • Smart followup approaches.
    We have added information on how/when to follow up with retailers (including ones that said they would order… and never did).
